如果VS的控制極沒有輸入觸發(fā)脈沖Ug,VS仍然不能導通,只有在U2處于正半周,在控制極外加觸發(fā)脈沖Ug時,晶閘管被觸發(fā)導通。畫出它的波形(c)及(d),只有在觸發(fā)脈沖Ug到來時,負載RL上才有電壓UL輸出。Ug到來得早,晶閘管導通的時間就早;Ug到來得晚,晶閘管導通的時間就晚。通過改變控制極上觸發(fā)脈沖Ug到來的時間,就可以調(diào)節(jié)負載上輸出電壓的平均值UL。在電工技術中,常把交流電的半個周期定為180°,稱為電角度。這樣,在U2的每個正半周,從零值開始到觸發(fā)脈沖到來瞬間所經(jīng)歷的電角度稱為控制角α;在每個正半周內(nèi)晶閘管導通的電角度叫導通角θ。很明顯,α和θ都是用來表示晶閘管在承受正向電壓的半個周期的導通或阻斷范圍的。

開通Q1并自動再次連通負載。上述過程會一直周期性重復下去,除非移去多余負載或?qū)AX668關閉使其停止工作。因此MAX810L和開關Q1一起構成了一個固態(tài)開關(電子絲)。絲絲MAX810L(微功耗器件)具有非平衡推挽輸出級。當對外輸出電流時,它等效于一個6kΩ電阻;當從外汲取電流時,它等效于一個125Ω的電阻。當導通或關斷Q1時,由于MAX810L的電阻阻止了Q1的密勒電容和柵源電容快速充放電,因此使開關瞬態(tài)過程得以減慢。假定Q1總的等效電容為5000pF時,則MAX810汲取電流時(等效于125Ω電阻)大電流三極管的RC電路的時間常數(shù)約為0.6μs。整個導通過程電壓瞬態(tài)響應時間大約為10RC=6μs。
