特性：空氣中最大允許工作溫度非常高可在220℃持續(xù)工作，短時可達260℃，在高溫環(huán)境保持高機械強度、剛度和硬度，優(yōu)越的耐化學(xué)腐蝕及耐水解性能（目前尚未發(fā)現(xiàn)可在200℃以下溶解聚苯硫醚的溶劑，對無機酸、堿和鹽類的抵抗性極強），優(yōu)秀的耐磨和摩擦性，非常好的尺寸穩(wěn)定性，優(yōu)秀的抗高能量輻射，良好的抗紫外線性能，自身具有阻燃性，優(yōu)良的電絕緣性。
優(yōu)點： 高機械強度。剛硬，杰出的低磨耗，耐沖擊及抗化性比PSU 及PE更佳。符合OSU標準非常好的抗化抗氧化。及抗水解性， 可做重覆蒸汽煮沸。防火自熄性塑膠。很高的時用溫度，在 220℃下仍可耐高腐濁，可短暫使用至 260℃。在此溫度其 撓曲強度和室濕時的ABS相若，低收縮率，優(yōu)異的尺寸及耐熱 安定性，生理學(xué)上使用無疑。缺點： 不耐磨。延伸性低。和極性溶劑和酒精接觸會變脆/斷裂。 加工時如含應(yīng)力時亦易斷裂不可用冷卻油加工切削。
